Until now, it was assumed that humans had only been making wooden tools for about 500,000 years. However, wood marks and abrasions on rocks show that the first hominids were working hard wood as early as 1.5 million years ago.
The belief that early man “Homo Erectus” could not yet make hunting weapons is considered outdated. Wood was the primary “raw material” of all tools.
With the intelligent use of wood, not stones, the success story of mankind began. Not a bad thought, is it?
